What to pack in your Disney World Theme Park Bag:
Found in photo:
Mouse Ears / Sunglasses / Ponchos / Autograph Book / Mouse Fan / Coola Sunscreen
Spray Mister Fan / First Aid Kit / Cooling Towels / Hip Bag / Portable Charger / Backpack
Small First Aid Kit
You will need to include a small first aid kit in your bag that includes items such as bandaids, alcohol wipes, antibiotic ointment, and a small number of over-the-counter medications like Tylenol, Advil, and Pepto Bismol. There are first aid stations in the park, but having your own supplies means you don’t have to go out of your way to the aid station.
Sunscreen
While you will likely apply sunscreen before you head to the park, you will need to reapply it throughout the day if you want to avoid a nasty sunburn. Make sure you put travel-sized sunscreen in your park bag.
Lip Balm
The Florida sun can be rough on your lips so make sure that you pack some lip balm with sunscreen in it. Make sure to reapply throughout the day to prevent dry lips and cracking.
Sunglasses
The weather in Florida is usually pretty sunny and bright, so you will probably want to carry your sunglasses with you. You may also want a lanyard to keep your sunglasses around your neck so you don’t have to worry about losing them on a ride.
Portable Charger
A day at Walt Disney World can take a toll on your phone batteries. You will be using it for photos, mobile ordering, lightning lane reservations, park maps, and keeping up with your party if you are in a large group. Having a portable charger means that you can recharge and stay in the park as long as you want.
Ponchos
You never know when you might get a stray afternoon shower in the humid Florida climate, so pack a poncho in your bag, and go hop in a short ride line while everyone else hides inside. You can of course buy ponchos in the park but they will be more expensive.
Misting Fans
If you will be visiting Disney World during the summer you will definitely want to add a few misting fans to your Disney World park bag. These battery-operated fans also mist you with a light spray of water helping to keep you cool while you are waiting in line or walking around the parks. You can buy misting fans in the theme park, but you will save a lot of money by grabbing a few before your trip.
Cooling Towels
Cooling towels are another great option for keeping you cool in the warm Florida sun. These towels are made out of a special material that when wet, stays cool for a really long time. These are perfect for wiping down sweaty faces or putting on the back of your neck.
Mouse Ears
If you have children traveling with you to the park, chances are they are going to want some Mickey or Minnie ears to wear during the trip. Surprise them with some pre-purchased ears to wear at the park, this is a great way to have a variety of ears to wear and save a bit of money.
Autograph Book and Pen
If you (or the kiddos) want to get autographs from your favorite Disney characters you will need a notebook and a pen or marker for them to use. While you can buy a special autograph book in the park, you can save by purchasing one ahead of time.
Snacks
Yes, there are tons of delicious snacks and food inside of the park, but since Disney allows you to bring food inside, why not pack a few snacks? Not only will they save you a little money, but they can be used to soothe hungry kids while you are waiting in line for a ride, and have food at the ready instead of have to wait for a mobile order to be completed.
Water Bottle
It is so important to stay hydrated throughout your day at the park. Dehydration can lead to feeling bad, headaches, and can really put a damper on your trip. Having a refillable water bottle at the ready will encourage you to drink all day long. You can have your water bottle refilled with ice water at most quick-service restaurants in the park.
Resealable Bags
Resealable bags are perfect for keeping items like phones from getting wet on water rides, you can also use them to store wet or soiled clothing, and for saving leftover food that you might want to munch on later. We use these for a ton of different uses during our trips!
Wet Wipes
A travel-sized pack of wet wipes is perfect for wiping down hands before or after a meal or snack or wiping down a dirty seat or table. You might also want to include a pack of tissues in your park bag.
