Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort is a tropical paradise located within the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. This vibrant and colorful resort offers guests a unique Caribbean-themed experience, complete with sandy beaches, swaying palm trees, and a laid-back island atmosphere.
Our family has stayed at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort a number of times and loves swinging back around to this vibrant resort. There are a number of stand out qualities about this moderate level resort that make it a great value for families, and also a convenient location for your next Walt Disney World vacation.

We most recently stayed at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort on a split stay trip when we were also visiting the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser experience, this resort provided some great perks like being close to transportation, great amenities, and lots to do!

Accommodations:
Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort offers a variety of accommodations to suit every guest’s needs and preferences. The resort features several different room types, including standard rooms, preferred rooms close to the lobby and pool, and even character themed rooms. Each room is tastefully decorated with vibrant colors and Caribbean-inspired accents, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The beds are comfortable, and the amenities provided ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay for all guests. We love the 5th sleeper bed option available in many of the rooms at this resort.
Here’s a look at our very lived in room. I usually try to take room photos before we “move in” to the room, but on this trip since our flight was delayed for a number of hours and we didn’t get in until 5am the following day AFTER we were supposed to arrive… we went ahead and started using it straight away! (Mainly to finally be able to go to bed for a few hours!!)
Dining Options:
One of the highlights of staying at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort is the wide array of dining options available. From casual quick-service restaurants to elegant table-service establishments, there is something to satisfy every palate. The resort’s main quick service dining location, the Centertown Market, offers a diverse selection of delicious dishes, including Caribbean-inspired specialties and classic American favorites. Guests can also enjoy a refreshing cocktail or tropical drink at one of the resort’s poolside bars, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the parks.

We found a number of things that we enjoyed and ordered multiple times on the Centertown Market menu! Including these delicious fish tacos!
The table service restaurant, Sebastian’s Bistro, has a wide variety of seafood meals and hearty selection of drinks. It offers an easy going location to have a nice table service meal at a reasonable price. Currently the dinner pricing is based on age, with diners being charged $35 per adult and $19 per child (ages 3-9), plus applicable tax and gratuities.
Recreational Activities:
Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort offers a plethora of recreational activities for guests of all ages. The resort features several pools, including the Fuentes del Morro Pool, a pirate-themed water playground complete with water slides and water cannons. Most often, we would head to the pool in the afternoons to escape the hottest part of the day with some water activities, this was the perfect way to cool down during a summer time trip!

Guests can also rent bicycles and explore the scenic trails that wind throughout the resort. For those looking to relax and unwind, the resort offers tranquil beaches where you can soak up the sun or take a leisurely stroll along the shore. Additionally, there are various sports courts, a fitness center, and even a pirate-themed adventure cruise for children.
Location and Transportation:
One of the major advantages of staying at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort is its prime location within the Walt Disney World Resort. The resort is conveniently situated near Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, making it easy to access both of these popular theme parks via the Disney Skyliner. Complimentary transportation via bus is provided to all other Disney theme parks, water parks, and Disney Springs, ensuring that guests can easily explore all that Walt Disney World has to offer. Whether you choose to take the bus, boat, or the new Disney Skyliner, getting around the resort is a breeze.
