These must have finds from Amazon are perfect for your next trip! I’ve used all of these during my recent travels, and these are my favorite purchases to make traveling more efficient and effortless!

I’ve broken down the list below into different types of items I’ve found most help during my travels.
Amazon Must Have Travel Items
To start out, one of the things that can make a huge difference when you’re traveling is what suitcase and travel bag you use. I frequently use luggage from American Tourister for my checked luggage and Level8 carry-on luggage with a laptop holder if I need a roll on suitcase, and will share an in-depth look at my favorite luggage pieces in an upcoming post. Here are all of the other items that I have loved when traveling the past year.
Best Travel Backpack
Over the past year I’ve had to go on a number of trips and two backpacks quickly became my favorite when I was traveling. The first is a large cream backpack that works well when I’m flying with an airline carrier that only allows one personal item to be brought on a flight (unless you pay an additional fee) and need to fit as much as possible in the bag while it still goes under the seat.

The other backpack I tend to use for road trips and flights where I’m able to carry a second bag or rolling bag onboard. It has an area to stow away my laptop and also has a handy built in USB charger. There are thin metal wires running across the top of the bag, so it holds its shape and has all of the necessary pockets to keep things organized.

Items that Make Travel Easier
When you’re traveling, you want items that will help make your travels easier and aren’t bulky that take up unnecessary space. I’ve used these items on both plane trips and road trips, and they are versatile to work for a number of different locations.
Cases and Pouches
I love a great pouch to keep things organized and some of my favorites are either themed to match my destination, or a great general travel one works well for all travels as well. I love this mouse themed one to use on my Disney travels.

To keep jewelry organized, I found a number of small jewelry cases to keep items secure and I especially love the little pouches that came down inside the square jewelry case. I don’t travel with the box frequently, however the pouches that came inside of it go on almost every trip I go on!

Items for Plane Travel
Hands down the best item I found to improve travel while on a plane is this hands free phone holder by Klearlook. I got this before a trip on Southwest last year to go out to Disneyland and ended up using it on a number of flights afterwards as well!

It allows you to either use it as a stand to hold your phone on the phone tray, or clip the phone to the back of the seat using the soft clips in the holder. This keeps your phone at screen height and makes it to where you’re not bending your neck the entire trip!
I also really love my luggage scale, to make sure that we can weigh suitcases to make sure they aren’t overweight before heading to the airport.

Items for Any Type of Travel
One of my favorite travel items I’ve purchased is this foldable 3 device charger, that you can charge 3 Apple products at the same time – your phone, AirPods, and Apple Watch! I purchased this for our cruise to Mexico since I knew we would be short on space in the cabin, and it has been one of the best travel purchases I made.

It streamlines how many cords you need to carry with you, and since I always keep it in my travel backpack – I never have to worry about leaving my charger at home!

- Lightweight Packable Jacket – Doesn’t take up much space and perfect if you’re heading somewhere rainy!

- Packing Cubes – These make packing a snap by keeping items grouped together.
