In March I had the pleasure of flying out to California for the Magical Media Retreat. This small group conference is to help grow and further your social media business and connect with other ladies working in our content creator field. I had a wonderful time and will be sharing a full wrap up of the conference in a separate post. The conference was hosted at Hilton Anaheim and I wanted to share more about this great location, in case it can be helpful during your own Disneyland trip planning. I received a special discount hotel room rate for attending the conference.

The Hilton Anaheim hotel was a great location for not just the conference, but also to stay in close proximity to Disneyland as well! I enjoyed my room there (make sure you check out the pictures below!) and thought it afforded a good amount of amenities including conference rooms, hotel restaurant, hotel bar, concierge service, gift shop, Starbucks, and more.
How Do I Get to Disneyland?
Hilton Anaheim is located in the Grand Plaza area, and is accessible via the ART (Anaheim Regional Transportation) bus system. I purchased an ART bus pass for 5 days, which cost $25 for an adult at the time of my stay. There was conveniently a bus stop located directly outside of our Hilton Anaheim resort location, and a secondary stop with benches just across the street at the Anaheim Marriott. These two resorts area on the same bus line and share the same easy accessibility to Disneyland via the ART transportation system.
What Do the Rooms Look Like?
I stayed in a King Suite and it was HUGE! The room was more than ample room for just one person, and even for a family of four (if you opt for the double bed suite of similar size) there would be more than enough space for everyone to spread out. I enjoyed having the couches in the room for relaxing and planning outfits, I did also use the desk workspace and wet bar areas while I was there. So no space went unused even though the room was quite large! The view from my room on the 9th floor was also quite good, I’ve hard that if you request the 11th floor or above – you can even see the castle from some rooms on those levels!
The wet bar in the room provided a good amount of space to hold a mini refrigerator and I also used the countertop space as a charging station.
My absolute favorite part was the view though! This was the view from my 9th floor room.
What Are Hilton Anaheim Prices Like?
We are frequent Hilton customers and while price does vary by location and time of year, their prices will be competitive to hotels of the same stature within the region. We paid a conference rate for the hotel and average nightly rates can range from $150-$300 per night. The rooms were large, had a good amount of add-ons in the room, like the wet bar, that added value to the price range.
How Can I Save Money?
There are ways to save money while visiting Disneyland! I met with representatives from Get Away Today while I was there, one of the first travel agencies that were authorized Disneyland Travel Planners – and they have exclusive offers and discounts for their customers.
You can get $10 off your Disneyland package booking just by using promo code: MOMMYWITHSTYLE!
Depending on which hotel you are planning on staying at, they often have deals available where you can get the 3rd or 4th night free of your stay! Contact Get Way Today to find out what the best deal available is!
Don’t stress, It will all fall into place!
Traveling can be stressful, especially when it is to someplace you have never traveled to before. I completely understand the stress of planning travel to a new location. By doing the research (like you are now!) ahead of your trip, you will arrive full of the knowledge you need to help your trip go as smoothly as possible.
My favorite trips to help plan your travel are:
- Plan your Hotel or Resort based on your top priorities for the trip, do you want to spend a lot of time at the pool? Be close to theme parks? Make this your guidestone.
- Plan early to take advantage of the most deals and savings available!
- Know what service you’re planning on using before arriving at the airport, if traveling by airplane. I prefer using car services, but if you are looking at using an Uber or Lyft to get to your resort – check prices on their app prior to arriving so you aren’t surprised.
- Research activities for each travel day and pick your top 3 activities you would like to try or do that day, so you don’t get overwhelmed trying to fit it ALL in.
- Have fun!
