Jo Malone has been a favorite perfume of mine for the past few years. I enjoy the mix and match combinations and appreciate that the scents have a very polished feel to them. They don’t come off as over done or too harsh. My husband has allergies, and Jo Malone scents are one of the few types of perfume I’ve been able to wear that he doesn’t complain about it affecting his allergies and sinuses.
Jo Malone scents are meant to be layered and I appreciate that you can change the scents based on your mood or season just by layering different types of scents together.
Favorite Overall
My favorite scent by Jo Malone is Wild Bluebell. I love the light and fresh scent, with just the right amount of floral to it. I wear it year round, alone, or layered with other scents.
Best Fall & Winter Scent
Best scent for Fall and Winter from Jo Malone that works great for either layering or wearing alone, is Blackberry & Bay. It is a sensual scent, with a hint of sweetness and woodsy undertones that give it a feel of cooler weather. I frequently layer this one with Wild Bluebell.
Best Spring & Summer Scent
For the warmer months, I tend to turn to the Nectarine Blossom & Honey. It is a sweet floral scent that is a bit heavier on the floral side, but still tolerable for someone that prefers fresh scents. I like the sweetness blended with the subdued nature of Wild Bluebell, and often mix the two together.
The above choices are some great options for scents to try out Jo Malone if you’ve never used their colognes before. These are staples in my scent collection and I’m sure I’ll be purchasing them for many years to come.
