Sand, sun, and fun await at Beaches Resort Turks & Caicos! I was once again fortunate enough to attend Beaches Social Media on the Sand in October 2019. In addition to looking forward to all of the conference material, I couldn’t wait to see the gorgeous ocean views again.
Beaches Resort Turks & Caicos is situated along the coast line of the Turks & Caicos island, with turquoise water views and white sandy beaches. Sitting next to the waves and listening to the sound of the surf coming in is one of my favorite activities to do when I’m visiting this resort, but here are some other “Must Do” activities to do while you are there too!
Go snorkeling or try Snuba!
I personally enjoy water activities and highly recommend trying snorkeling (dive gear included as a part of your Beaches Resort stay, just check it out from the dive shop!) – or Snuba!
Snuba is an extra excursion fee that you book at the excursions desk and you go out on the same boat that takes the snorkelers out into the open water. It combines the feeling of snorkeling with an air tank that is floating in a raft above you, so you can dive deeper into the water. Up to 20 feet! I tried Snuba for the first time on this most recent trip and really enjoyed it! You do not need to be dive certified to Snuba and if you’ve enjoyed snorkeling in the past, it is a great way to “take it to the next level”.
Taste a variety of foods!
There’s no shortage of foods at the resort and meals are all inclusive, so make sure to venture out to the different villages around the resort and try different restaurants each day. One of my favorites for breakfast is Mario’s, the sit down buffet restaurant in the Italian village. For breakfast, they serve a great assortment of traditional favorites and I enjoy starting out my day with some scrambled eggs and bacon. For lunch and dinner, I tried to mix it up by trying different restaurants around property.
Don’t pass up some of the faster favorites like the Mac’n’Cheese Food Truck! My personal favorite is the buffalo mac and cheese!
Enjoy the frozen drinks!
Drinks are also included at the resort and I made it a point to try as many of the frozen drinks as possible! The ‘Purple Rain’ became my “go to” drink while I was there, and was a refreshing alcoholic beverage that was light enough for mid-day.
Pool hop to try multiple pools!
There are multiple villages at Beaches Turks & Caicos and each has its own dining and pool experiences. One of the best ways I found to learn the resort layout was to go from pool to pool and learn the vibe of each area. Each pool seemed to have its own vibe with some catering to families, while others seemed to be quieter with more adults. Most of the pools have swim up bars, which make it easy to try the frozen drinks while in the pool!
I had a wonderful time on my visit to Beaches Turks & Caicos! Check out all of my videos on YouTube to see a recap of my experience.
