5 Ways Beaches Resort Turks and Caicos has ALL the fun!
I recently visited Beaches Turks and Caicos for Social Media on the Sand 2018, a special conference designed for social media moms! It was a blast, I learned a TON, and brought home lots of great tidbits to mull over where to take my social media next. One of the best parts about the conference though, was exploring an ALL NEW destination to me – Beaches Turks and Caicos!
Prior to my arrival at Beaches Turks and Caicos, I had never been to a Sandals or Beaches Resort. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but after taking some time to explore around – although there are TONS of things that make Beaches Resorts a ton of fun… here are my top 5 ways Beaches Turks and Caicos brings the fun!!
1. Did someone say… ALL INCLUSIVE?!?!
Beaches is an all inclusive resort, and when they say all inclusive – they mean it! Everything including your room, food, entertainment, and access to each of the villages and pools, are all included in your daily rate price. Tipping is not allowed once you’re at the resort, so there is no need to carry cash. You put down a $400 hold on your card when you check into your room, and any items you’d like to purchase from the gift shop can be charged right to your room! Shopping aside, if you just want to come to Beaches to play on the beach, have some fun at the pool, and eat some great food then everything is included in your price… and oh yeah, DRINKS are included too!
You have access to the many pool bars and open air bars throughout the resort. My favorite drink on the trip was the Purple Rain, I highly recommend it!
2. Beautiful amenities
Turks and Caicos islands are truly some of the most beautiful places on the Earth! Surrounding by lush greenery and scenic beaches, Beaches Turks and Caicos was like being on a movie set at times! Everything was perfectly cultivated and I loved walking from village to village, feeling like I was being whisked away to another town.
3. Variety of food
There are 22 different restaurants on property and each one has its own flair! They are all open at different times and some restaurants have days during the week which they are closed, so you definitely are going to want to pay attention to the restaurant guide that you’re given upon checking in. This will have all of the information about which restaurants are open for each meal, and which days they are open. I became quite partial to Mario’s in the Italian Village on my trip, and enjoyed eating breakfast there most of the mornings!
4. Plenty of kids activities
Although I was traveling solo on this trip, I was paying close attention to what was available entertainment wise for kids of all ages! And I’m happy to report, that Beaches provides a wide selection of entertainment for the entire range of ages! There is a baby room for 0-12 months, Sesame Street Camp for ages 1 year to 4 years, Pirates Island for ages 5-10, and special tween and teen clubs for the older kids!
Kid’s clubs on a family vacation are a “best of both worlds” situation for our family, because the kids can spend time doing age appropriate activities while the adults go off to do more adventurous things or simply have a date night. Then everyone can come together for dinner or special activities, we’ve found this works great for our family!
5. Water sports are included
Snorkeling is one of my favorite water sports, and snorkeling gear is included when you stay at a Beaches Resort! Just head to the water sports desk and check out the gear for 2 hours at a time. Walk to your favorite location on the beach, and get exploring!
All in all, it was an amazing experience and I cannot wait to share it all with you! Beaches vlogs are running currently on my channel and you can check them out on this playlist:
After the destination day in the life vlogs are done, I’ll have a few recap videos talking about my experience and answering your questions from Facebook and Instagram!
