This upscale dining venue offers breathtaking views of the Magic Kingdom and a delicious menu featuring fresh, California-inspired cuisine.
For an interactive dining experience, guests can visit Chef Mickey’s, where they can enjoy a buffet-style meal while getting to see some of Disney’s Fab Five characters.

One of the newest restaurant locations at the Contemporary Resort is Steakhouse 71, inspired by the opening time period of Walt Disney World. It had fantastic artwork on the walls and I enjoyed a quiet dinner at this resort. The food was fantastic and this restaurant on the lower level of the Contemporary works great for an upscale dining experience in a laid back environment.
Recreational Activities for the Whole Family
There’s no shortage of fun activities to enjoy at the Contemporary Resort. Guests can take a dip in one of the resort’s two pools, rent a boat to explore Bay Lake, or participate in various recreational activities such as fishing, tennis, and volleyball.
The splash pad area had an adorable space theme.
Additionally, the Sand Bar pool bar serves the dock area as well. The outdoor space at the Contemporary has expanded recreation offerings with the boat rentals and beach area available to relax and enjoy the view.
Garden Wing Room Experience
During my recent stay for the FLOCK conference, we were in the garden wing rooms at the Contemporary. These were newly redesigned rooms with the INCREDIBLES theme, and I loved the mid-century modern vibe from the decor!
