Creating content is amazing, and for most of us we want this to be a career too. Find out how I started making more money as a content creator than I was making in my 9-5 corporate job and had to leave a job that I LOVED because it didn’t make sense to lose money by going to work every day!

This is different than the story you hear a lot of times, that people were desperate to leave a 9-5 job that they hated, but for me the exact opposite was true. And I can tell you that it took a long time to let go of viewing myself as having to go the “traditional” route of creating income, and lean in to creating more passive income that allowed me the freedom to travel when I wanted and spend more time with my family. Now I’m able to travel when I want to travel, have time to go to my kid’s activities at school, and I make my own schedule. I’m not going to lie, it’s pretty nice!

A few years ago, I started making more shoppable content in my business and this completely changed everything for me! Not only was I making a great consistent income, but it was passive revenue as well and I only needed to tend to it a few hours a week. This blossomed and eventually became the core of what I work on when I have time, but allows me to travel when I want to travel and have extra time to do the things I want to do.
